“Small & Sharp”
A Bath Design in Arlington Heights, Illinois

Bath Design Overview

Jason Smith
Kitchen & Bath Designer

This bath remodel was designed for Brad, my down to earth client in Arlington Heights. He was seeking our signature style in a small hall bathroom. He was seeking something simple, clean and modern.

The glass tile was really my inspiration behind the project. I love the tonal range of this tile and it became my cornerstone for the project.

The vanity area is relatively simple. I focused on bringing color out from the glass tile with the counter and vanity cabinet selections.

The tub area is functional, stylish and easy to maintain. I love the squared off style of the tub, and it’s super deep. Perfect for a soak.

The cabinetry adds some depth and texture at the vanity area. The hardware adds a small eye catching detail.

A closer look at the quartz counter. It ties in so naturally with our tile selections.

I love this glass, so I could have easily tiled the whole shower in this. But logic prevailed and I designed the shampoo niche to add practical character. It adds a cohesive feeling to the space, and the client loved it.
