“Relaxing Retreat”
Bath Design in Glencoe, Illinois

Bath Design Overview

The vision for this Glencoe bathroom was that of a spa like retreat. We achieved this by mixing natural stone with warm wood tones, to create a soft monochromatic space.

The highlight of the bath is the stacked stone fireplace. It is perfectly positioned to be enjoyed while taking a soak in the free standing tub.

The large windows over the tub flood the bath with light, making the new bathroom bright and airy.

The inset cabinets at the vanity add a lot of warmth to the space. The pendant lights feel elegant and contemporary.

The freestanding tub sits gracefully next to the fireplace. The large windows really help brighten the space.

We used a touch of stacked stone marble at the shower to make the bath feel cohesive.

A view of the stacked stone of the fireplace. We ran the stone to the ceiling to make a statement.

By creating a half wall at the shower, the shower feels larger and more inviting. Small details like this make a big impact.

The clean lines of the faucet gives visual relief to the busy tile, and detailed vanity cabinets.
