Bath Design in Kildeer, Illinois
Bath Design Overview
This bath was an exciting project to work on. This home sits on a beautiful wooded lot; and has a very rustic theme. The client loved the idea of incorporating some of the rustic elements in her bathroom, but also wanted the space to feel very elegant. She was looking for something with a little “jazz”.
The highlight of the bath is this custom finished soaker tub. The barnwood is the icing on the cake.
Placing a wall in the center of the bathroom created a great focal wall for the vanity.
This tile gives us the warm and fuzzies. We love the lantern shape and the variation that it has.
The custom vanity is full of storage and drives home the “shabby chic” feel in the bathroom.
We are head over heals for this cozy little area. We love the way the tile sparkles behind the tub from the warm glow of the chandelier. The wall mounted faucet and decorative niches add to the feeling of relaxed luxury.
All of our lighting was carefully selected to bring in the rustic theme. This chandelier has soft distressed finishes of dark weathered zinc and gives the perfect farmhouse feel.
We’ve gotta give it to Newport Brass on their stunning fixtures. They make our job too easy! The Cambria counter looks soft and elegant like marble but with no maintenance.
The client begged us for a ceiling mounted rainhead, and we can’t say we’re upset about it. It was a great addition to their beautiful shower.
