A Kitchen Design in Mount Prospect, Illinois
Kitchen Design Overview
Kitchen & Bath Designer
This kitchen was designed for a busy and growing family in the Mount Prospect area. The existing first floor was spacious but divided into several small rooms.
By removing several walls and reframing the brick exterior, we were able to create an open and spacious floor plan, perfect for family time and entertaining.
Here you can see the variety of the materials we used. I designed the range area to be a focal point upon entry.
The Fantasy Brown countertop adds a ton of character to the island. The quartz sink is durable and looks great against the counters.
These tiles from Alyse Edwards are really interesting. They are a beveled brick shape, made in Japan.
The roll out spice racks are a hidden gem at the cook top. The client loved these.
We built the microwave cabinet on site as we wanted the microwave to sit flush with the cabinets.
We made sure to provide ample amounts of deep storage for our clients big family.
The glass doors add a subtle detail on this side of the kitchen. The cabinet hardware ties in so nicely with the island pendant lights.
